Pink Lady Apples
Frog Hollow Farm, Brentwood, CA
Pink Lady Apples are a cross between the Golden Delicious and Lady Williams. They are a crisp and juicy apple with a tart finish. Pink skins and a creamy white colored flesh that resists browning make this an excellent apple for salads and slicing.

Warren Pears
Frog Hollow Farm, Brentwood, CA
The Warren pear has a classic European texture — soft and juicy with a melting mouthful. It has a sweet flavor and avoids the typical grittiness found in most other pear varieties.

Hayward Kiwi
Chiechi Farm, Live Oak, CA
Originally known as the Chinese gooseberry due to its Chinese origins. Hayward Wright, a New Zealand nurseryman propagated his plants by grafting, and they eventually became the preferred cultivar of growers due to their sweet flavor.

Pomegranates
Frog Hollow Farm, Brentwood, CA
With only a handful of pomegranate trees in our orchard, our pomegranate season is a short one. These beauties walk a fine line between sweet and tart, and are bursting with antioxidants. Kids often love picking apart the "seeds" to eat, but the trick we like is breaking apart a pom in a bowl of water--the edible bits will sink to the bottom, while the white pith-like parts float to the top.
